Life is full of decisions.
You choose one side or the other, you go in or go out. I choose to be me!
I was born August 16, 1980 in CD. Obregon son, Mexico.
What can I tell you about myself? Well, I always was different. As a boy I preferred dolls and I never wanted to play the boy role because I was so different. People always noticed, but I saw it as natural because I felt like a girl. I never felt like hiding who I was deep inside.
I think one should always be oneself no matter what. There is nothing more beautiful than that.
I am proud to say that I am Mexican. I'm very lively, very dreamy and ready to face any challenges. I enjoy the simple things of life like going out to eat with friends, movies, dancing and now been part of many events as "Queen of the Universe".
I was not fortunate to be accepted by my family because I was different. They did not understand what was going on in my head.
What can I really do but be myself! Because of them not accepting me, I had to make many decisions.
I left Mexico. I left everything behind. I moved forward with my life. Even though it was hard leaving I felt better. I started to study and work for myself so that one day my dreams would be complete.
At 17 I was very feminine and I felt like it was time to start my transition.
Little by little everything started to get into place. I lived 6 years in Tijuana, where I worked very hard to get what I wanted to accomplish.
One day I decided to come to the United States. It's been now a little over a year that I have been here in the USA. I feel very good because I'm surrounded by good people that make me feel good and accept me for myself. This beautiful place is full of opportunities.
A DREAM came true last November 5, 2006. The experience of a lifetime - To be a beauty Queen.
So… I'm your Queen of the Universe 2007! I want to thank everyone that has helped and supported me. I would love to invite all my transsexual sisters to live my dreams with me and make a difference in this world. Don't ever give up your dreams. Let all of us together make a difference.
I'm very happy to be your "Queen of the Universe 2007" and I hope I can make mother Karina and my community proud of me.
